Hey nice enclosure. Here is the one I have been working on. Not quite finished but I thought I would post it anyway. Let me know what you think!

Hey Nicci, just now saw your enclosure picture. It's really awesome! I like it. Looks like you really took some time on it. It's pretty satisfying to make your own enclosure for your very own Tegu!!! Congats on the very nice looking enclosure.

Both of those are really nice. Unfortunately I'm not very skilled in the carpentry arts so I was unable to make my own. But my friend made it for me. I'll try to post pics soon. Do you guys have uvb in there?

Yes, I have a UVB bulb in my enclosure. It's mounted almost over his hide cave.

Do you use MVB w/combo lighting/heating or regular separate uvb? I'm about to switch over from MVB to regular UVB that some of my other reptiles have, but just want to know if they're gonna work alright.

Yeah, you can do that, switching to regular uvb. I have zilla desert 50 series bulbs and I like them. No mvbs combo heat and uvb for me. I fear some get too hot. So yep, you should have no problem switching over. Just make sure you have good basking, too.
