Hello,I'm George I have 3 bearded dragons and I'm about to buy 1 or a couple maybe argentine black & white tegus.I want to know the feeding frequency and quantity in general for a hatchling,a yearling,a sub-adult and an adult if I'm not asking too much because everywhere I'm searching they only wrote the foods they have to it not quantities or frequency and because I read in our forum's care sheet about a ''every other day'' feeding frequency even for hatchlings I'm troubled because in other care sheets they wrote about daily feeding and I don't know what to do.Thanks a lot for your answers and time beforehand!!

Hello,

If you go to my "Care Sheet" page , it clearly states feeding frequency.Look at the different stages of the Tegus life and it will tell you how often you hould feed. If you are feeding rodents, then add a day to what is stated. This is to make sure they have time to digest their food. anything else, just follow what I have stated.

Hatchlings cannot be purchased from a reputable breeder. Picked out yes but the breeder will allow the Tegu to grow.

Let's all promote Tegu awareness and health.

Feed small portions until you know how much it is willing to eat.
