I really hate to do this but I have no choice. I need to re-home my tegu, Haggard. Were having a lot of financial problems on top of some other problems and I just can't keep him anymore, its not fair to Haggard. He is from here, was hatched around 09-14-09 or somewhere there abouts.

He's pretty friendly. However with everything going on I haven't been able to give him the attention he needs and he's a little skiddish. He's not aggressive or anything just unsure of things. I can take him out, bath him, place him on the bed or things like that without any problem he just wiggles alot because he's not sure.

He didn't grow over the summer like most tegus, he's over a year old and probably around 16 inchs, if that actually. I was told its normal and have talked to people who have said that their tegus have been the same way they are just slow growers I guess. When he came out of hibernation he also had a twisted foot, not sure what happened there while he was sleeping, but nothing has made it right. I've upped his calcium and changed his UVB bulb but nothing fixed it. He gets along well with it however, doesn't seem to be an issue for him.

Im located in Millersburg, OH, 44654. I would prefer a local pickup or somewhere in the state that we could drive and meet perhaps, however Im willing to ship if someone can show me how. Im nervous about shipping him, but Im sure it can be figured out. I can send pictures by email if interested. Im asking 50$ to help with shipping or travel expenses.

Thanks,

   Susan
