So i just purchased my baby tegu it is still green i was just wondering on what i should be feeding it the guy at the pet shop said they are feeding them ground turkey with egg i bought him yesterday and i got him some crickets but i dont think he ate some can anybody share some info on what they fed there baby tegus i want it to grow big and healthy the girl also said that it might no eat right away because of its new home is that true or should i be worrying if it doesnt start eating by tommorow ive had tegus before but not this small i mostly fed my other tegus fruits and crickets and a hopper about once a month just for a treat any info would be appreciated  ill post pictures of the little guy later thank you

I hope you didn't buy an imported one!! Pet Shops will not tell you that...If its am import, it could have parasites and may never eat..Just keep trying crickets, ground Turkey, etc..All you have to do is follow my care sheet on my website..

well my tegu is eating theres no more crickets in the tank and i did see him eat some so im pretty happy now i cant wait till it gets BIG...

You should invest  in  ten gallon tank and some dubias . It will save you TONS of money over the cost of crickets.
